The goal of the HIR Institute’s Research Department is to use research to develop recommendations and set the stage for evidence-based practices and policies that could improve the well-being and social engagement of marginalized groups in society. To reduce the social and economic barriers that people encounter in the job market, educational systems, and their access to affordable, high-quality healthcare, comprehensive legislative action is needed. Politicians and governments may be sure that they can create more cohesive and just societies by prioritizing social inclusion over just economic success.
