Following the announcement of the agreement between Ethiopia and Somaliland, the HIR Institute for Research and Development is tried to carry out research to figure out the significance of the agreement, with the goal of providing information about it to the Somaliland people. In light of this, the institute examined the goal of this agreement in both public and off the record sessions. This comprehensive study, led by Dr. Samina Khan, Dr. Abdirizaq Garad, and Dr. Ahmed Zaki, explores the dynamic implications of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Somaliland and Ethiopia, signed in early 2024.
